Registration & Waiver
Every family completes a registration form before a player's first practice, covering emergency contacts, medical information, and program participation terms.
Concussion Policy
MISA's concussion policy is built to meet Minnesota state law: all coaches and officials complete CDC-aligned concussion training, any player showing signs of a possible concussion is removed from play immediately, and return to play requires written clearance from a qualified medical provider.
Youth Safeguarding Policy
Our safeguarding policy sets clear standards for adult-youth interactions, guidelines around one-on-one contact and communication, and a straightforward way to report any concern, all in line with U.S. Center for SafeSport best practices.
Coach & Official Code of Conduct
Clear expectations for behavior, sportsmanship, and professionalism from every adult on court, on the sidelines, and in communication with players and families.
Background Check Policy
Every coach and regular volunteer completes a criminal background screening before working with players, with periodic re-screening over time.

A location-specific plan for responding to medical emergencies at each practice and match site, including emergency contacts, nearest care facilities, and staff response protocols.
